Modern Slavery Policy
A) ORGANISATION
This statement applies to The Door Creative Agency Limited (referred to in this statement as ‘the
organisation’). The information included in the statement refers to the financial year 2025/2026.
B) DEFINITIONS
The Door Creative Agency Limited considers that modern slavery encompasses:
• Human trafficking;
• Forced work, through mental or physical threat;
• Being owned or controlled by an employer through mental or physical abuse or the threat of
abuse;
• Being dehumanised, treated as a commodity or being bought or sold as property;
• Being physically constrained or to have restriction placed on freedom of movement.
C) COMMITMENT
The Door Creative Agency Limited acknowledges its responsibilities in relation to tackling modern
slavery and commits to complying with the provisions in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Door
Creative Agency Limited understands that this requires an ongoing review of both its internal
practices in relation to its labour force and, additionally, its supply chains.
The Door Creative Agency Limited does not enter into business with any other organisation, in the
United Kingdom or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to involve itself in slavery, servitude
and forced or compulsory labour.
No labour provided to the The Door Creative Agency Limited in the pursuance of the provision of
its own services is obtained by means of slavery or human trafficking. The Door Creative Agency
Limited strictly adheres to the minimum standards required in relation to its responsibilities under
relevant employment legislation in the United Kingdom.
D) ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Door Creative Agency Limited is a creative agency based in Unit 9A, DBR Business Park,
Dunnings Bridge Road, Bootle, Liverpool. United Kingdom L30 6AA. The Organisation operates from
a central office/ studio location and provides creative, design, digital, photographic, video, branding,
marketing, web and related production services to clients. The organisation is controlled by its
Directors and Senior Management Team.
The Door Creative Agency Limited does not currently operate offices outside of the United
Kingdom.
The main activity carried out by The Door Creative Agency Limited is the provision of creative
agency services, including brand design, graphic design, digital design, web support, photography,
video production, motion design, marketing support and creative direction. The organisation
provides these services to clients across a range of sectors. The organisation’s operations are not
seasonal, although
workloads may vary depending on client campaigns, project deadlines, shoots, events and
production schedules.
The labour supplied to The Door Creative Agency Limited in pursuance of its operation is carried out
in the United Kingdom.
E) SUPPLY CHAIN STRUCTURE
In order to fulfil its activities, The Door Creative Agency Limited’s main supply chains include
those related to freelance creative and production support, print production, signage, studio and
photographic equipment, video production suppliers, digital and software providers, web and
technology services, marketing platforms, office suppliers, event suppliers, merchandise and
promotional goods where required for client projects. The Door Creative Agency Limited’s supply
chain is generally considered to
be relatively straightforward and primarily UK-based. However, the organisation recognises that
some suppliers may source goods, materials, labour, technology, equipment or products through
wider UK and international supply chains.
The Organisation does not currently have an agreement with a trade union in relation to bargaining
terms and conditions.

The Door Creative Agency Limited has the following policies which further define its stance on
modern slavery
G) DUE DILIGENCE IN RELATION TO MODERN SLAVERY
The Door Creative Agency Limited carries out due diligence processes in relation to ensuring
slavery and/or human trafficking does not take place in its organisation or supply chains, including
conducting a review of the controls of its suppliers.
The organisation seeks to work with reputable suppliers, freelancers and contractors. Where
appropriate, suppliers may be reviewed before engagement, particularly where goods, production,
merchandise, event support or labour-based services are being provided. The organisation may
request confirmation from suppliers that they comply with applicable employment, labour and
modern slavery legislation. The organisation also ensures that workers engaged directly by the
business have the right to work in the United Kingdom and that any concerns relating to unethical
labour practices are reviewed and acted upon where necessary.
H) TRAINING
The Door Creative Agency Limited provides the following training to staff to effectively implement
its stance on modern slavery, staff are made aware of the organisation’s Modern Slavery Policy and
relevant internal procedures. Employees involved in recruitment, supplier selection, production
planning, procurement, project management or contractor engagement are made aware of the
need to identify and
report any concerns relating to modern slavery, unethical labour practices or worker exploitation.
Additional guidance or training may be provided where required.
I) MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The Door Creative Agency Limited has set the following key performance indicators to measure its
effectiveness in ensuring modern slavery is not taking place in The Door Creative Agency Limited or
its supply chains.
The organisation will monitor the effectiveness of its approach by ensuring right-to-work checks
are completed for employees, reviewing supplier and freelancer relationships where appropriate,
recording and investigating any concerns relating to modern slavery or unethical labour practices,
maintaining no confirmed incidents of modern slavery within the organisation or its supply chain,
and reviewing this statement and relevant policies on a regular basis.
J) STEPS
The Door Creative Agency Limited has not, to its knowledge, conducted any business with another
organisation which has been found to have involved itself with modern slavery.
In accordance with section 54(4) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, The Door Creative Agency Limited
has taken the following steps to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place:
• adopted a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking
• maintained internal policies which support fair employment and ethical working practices
• carried out appropriate right-to-work checks for employees
• used reputable suppliers, freelancers and contractors
• reviewed supplier relationships where appropriate
• considered modern slavery risks when engaging suppliers for print, merchandise,
production, event or labour-based services
• encouraged staff to report any concerns relating to exploitation or unethical labour practices,
• committed to reviewing this statement annually
K) MODERN SLAVERY COMPLIANCE OFFICER
The Door Creative Agency Limited has a Modern Slavery Compliance Officer, to whom all concerns
regarding modern slavery should be addressed, and who will then undertake relevant action with
regard to the Door Creative Agency Limited obligations in this regard.
This statement is made in pursuance of Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be
reviewed for each financial year.
