What started out as a one-off fundraising event has blossomed into a thriving multi-million pound charity, and The Door Creative is honoured to have helped them raise awareness of the fight against breast cancer by working on their creative projects. It began by developing an eye-catching brand that was perfect for their website, social media campaigns and merchandise.
Taking place in London, Scotland and Iceland, the MoonWalks have been a key part of the mission to fight cancer for 25 years and a whopping £137 million has been collected so far. Thousands of walkers take part, often wearing Walk the Walk's signature decorated bras, raising awareness, investing in prevention, and supporting those living with breast cancer and other cancers.
As the walks are such fun events, we knew that our illustrations and overall designs should be attractive to the broad spectrum of people who want to get involved. Colourful guides to help walkers achieve their goals are among the range of creative assets we produced.

We collaborated with Walk the Walk on several animated social campaigns that included tips for how to check for common signs of breast cancer. We don't only need to raise awareness for women though, because not everyone realises that it can affect men too. It was a proud moment when one of the videos we created was shown on the big screens of Leicester Square.
